Hello,
I love this time of year! The ice has melted on the lake, we have light well into the evening, the trees are budding and soon flowers will be emerging. I’ll be pulling my kayak out and enjoying paddling again this month too.
Over the next two weeks, I recommend that you focus on the Prosperity gua, which is the back-left corner of your home and workspace, as well as every room in your house. Details are below.
If you’ve been experiencing more ups and downs lately, hang on. The patterns are likely to continue until early fall.
This doesn’t mean that all is forsaken. Far from it. The next few months will be a period of transition and transformation on many levels. To the extent that you tap into your inner self and you also create the most comfortable home and workspace that you can, you can navigate the cycles with ease and emerge focused and energized.
Hay House’s 2018 World Summit runs May 5-20.

April 29 Full Moon
RecapDid you adjust your Career gua, the center-front of your home (or any room) or office, prior to the April 15th new moon? If so, take note of what has shifted or is shifting for you beginning with the April 29th full
moon.
The new moon is a time to set (or “seed”) your intention. The
full moon, two weeks later, is the time when things come to light. It’s the time to see what’s taken root and is beginning to grow. When you set an intention and take inspired action to create a shift, amazing things can happen. You have an opportunity to practice doing this each month by refreshing or shifting the energy of your home in coordination with the monthly new and full moons....

Make the Most of Our Very Active Planetary Cycles!

My astrology colleagues tell me that we’re in for a wild ride over the next few months. There’s a lot of shifting and transformation underway as Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter are currently retrograde. During the summer, eight or nine planets will be retrograde simultaneously. When planets retrograde, or move backwards, things slow down.....

Swaswara and the Five Elements
|
|
A key aspect of harmonizing spaces from a feng shui perspective is to integrate the Five Elements of Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal. Each space should contain the five elements and when they’re in balance, spaces feel comfortable. Balance does not mean equal
proportions though. There’s really an art and science to all of this. When in doubt, let your intuition be your guide...

Home Feng Shui Tip: Less Is More
|
|
Would you like to create more open space in your current environment? A great way to do this is to use what you already have before purchasing or acquiring more, in every area of your life. Doing so can bring more simplicity to your life while creating more open
space. Open space is wonderful! It cultivates calm and creativity, brings answers to problems, and much more.
An easy place to begin is in your bathroom. I typically see many personal care products in bathrooms. Look at every product you have and note what you’re really using. If you have products that you haven’t used in a long time, products you don’t care for, or products that are no longer useful to you, let them go, regardless of initial cost or intent. Items that you don’t use are taking up valuable room, and more importantly, they are consuming energy
and space … even if you aren’t giving them attention.
If your
bathroom’s in great shape, consider other items, such as food in your cabinets or pantry, storage containers, dishes, paper goods, cleaning products, clothing, technology and gadgets, office products, books, you name it.
Last summer when my husband and I consolidated our two homes, we had lots of duplicates. We’ve been actively using them up. As we do, we’re creating more open space. One of the tricks to making this happen is to store like items together. This makes it much easier to use the extras before you purchase more.

Business Feng Shui Tip: Store Like Things Together
|
|
Office space is often at a premium, whether you work for someone else or for yourself. My husband and I have both worked from home for close to twenty years. Prior to last year’s move, we had four offices in two homes and ten full file drawers, plus additional miscellaneous boxes of
“stuff.” We realized that we had more than we were using, needed or wanted.
As we moved all “like” items together: pens and pencils, paper, envelopes, manila folders, binders, etc., we evaluated what we were really using and what we would most likely use in the future. Many extras, along with items we didn’t like, were given away or
tossed out. An art teacher, some crafts-people and scouts were happy recipients.
After we moved, we did more of the same. Now, nearly a year later, we’re going through another purge. We’re realizing that we can live and work with a lot less.
The trick is to store similar items together and then notice what you’re using. We’re consciously using our supplies before buying more. The less we have, the simpler things are. The ten file drawers that we had? We’re now down to two drawers of active files and four smaller boxes of files that we need for reference. They take up much less space than previously.
Less is truly more. It’s very freeing.

May Special: Prosperity Gua Consultations |
Sometimes we’re blind to what’s in our space. Years ago, one of my clients had a broken antique clock on the wall in her Prosperity Gua. The clock had been a wedding gift to her parents and it held special meaning. This woman told me a story of how her brother cheated her out of her inheritance. When I looked at the clock, what did I notice? Images of pirates on the high seas. What do
pirates do? They loot and steal! This clock had a hold on cheating energy in this woman’s prosperity gua. The woman immediately took the clock off the wall. She decided to look into having it appraised, with an eye towards selling it.
What’s in your Prosperity gua that you might not be seeing? If you’d like some help re-energizing your Career gua or identifying three actions you
can take to get things moving along for you, send some photos or a short video along and I will contact you for a 20-minute telephone or web-based brainstorming and consultation session.
