Hello,
I’m loving the longer days and the approach of spring. Living further north, the full force of spring comes later in April or May. For now, I’m content with the snow melting, the lake thawing, birds returning and being outside with fewer layers of clothes. It’s all about perspective. By the time the
warmer weather arrives, I’ll be caught up with work and ready to enjoy the outdoors.
Last week my husband surprised me by suggesting a trip to Paris in May. Of course, I said “yes” and he booked it right away. Immediately, I put my intention to become proficient in conversational French into action. I got on the web and researched French tutors in NH. Minutes after answering a Thumbtack query, I had offers from five
tutors around the country and abroad. Two days later I interviewed four of them and made my selection. The tutor I hired is located about 20 minutes away. We’ll meet via Zoom and use Google docs. Periodically, we may meet in person too. It’s the best of both worlds.
Post-India I’m noticing solutions coming to me more easily and rapidly. As a result, some longstanding things are getting accomplished, particularly
technical glitches that I previously set aside. Recently it was getting Skype on my laptop to match the version of Skype on my phone. When I decided to resolve the dilemma, it was so easy.
Spring is a time of new beginnings. What’s new for you this spring or what would you like to be different? If you focus on the outcome you’d like, you might be surprised with how quickly and easy it can happen. Remember, your environment
mirrors your inner self. You can change from the outside-in or the inside-out. Begin anywhere. Eventually the two will meet.
Enjoy April!

Make the Most of this Mercury Retrograde Cycle!
|
|
I’ve come to love Mercury retrograde cycles. I think of them as a universal check and balance system. They provide an opportunity to pause, to reflect, and to re-do or fine-tune things. It’s a period to stop pushing forward and to slow down. Used well, each three-week period can be a welcome reprieve from today’s fast-paced and over-scheduled world....

India: Feng Shui of Swaswara
|
|
The moment I arrived at Swaswara I felt welcomed and nurtured. Staff was on hand to meet us, take our luggage to our villas, and introduce us to the setting and program. A delicious lunch was also waiting.
The earthen buildings are quite pleasing. They’re constructed from local laterite or red clay that is hardened into bricks, with thatched-type roofs. There are 24
spacious villas, each with a beautiful center courtyard...

Home & Business Feng Shui Tip
|
|
Spring is a time to refresh and rejuvenate your spaces and your life.
For more clarity this month, clean the windows, mirrors, and all glass surfaces (such as glass in picture frames) in your Career gua or the center front of all your spaces. Also wash the windows of
your car(s), particularly if you have more than one. Inside and out.
Glass, mirrored, and reflective surfaces represent Water energy in feng shui. Water is about fluidity and movement. After water being splashed, frozen, still or stagnant during the winter, April is a time to move forward and shine. Cleaning your windows activates the chi in a room.
From a feng shui perspective, your environment reflects what’s
going on in your life. People in your life also mirror what’s happening deep inside yourself. If you’re experiencing unrest or discomfort, shifting the energy of your home of workspace can bring more active energy and vibrancy to your life.
Focus on joy. As you look for it an experience it daily, others will too.
