Three Easy Steps to Integrate Feng Shui Each Month

An easy way to integrate feng shui into your life is to adjust the area in your home each month that aligns with the moon’s energy. It’s a three-step process:

Three to four times a year, the planet Mercury appears to back up in the sky for about three weeks at a time. It doesn’t really back up, it just seems that way.

Mercury influences communications of all sorts: conversations, written communications, contracts and agreements, your thoughts and words. Mercury also influences technology, such as computers and your various technological devices, include your cars and vehicles...

Did you know your stove influences your prosperity? It does! The day after I recently cleaned my stove and oven, two new clients came to me. It was a wonderful reminder of the power of energy.

From a feng shui perspective, your burners or stovetop fire things up. Keeping the burners clean and using each of them helps to activate and maintain the flow of positive, abundant energy.

Sometimes people get in the habit of using the same burner all the time. Do you identify with this? If so, mix things up a bit and rotate the burners. Use them all. Get everything moving! If any of the burners are malfunctioning, get them fixed. At minimum, set an intention to do so. Googling the problem may provide you with an easy and unexpected solution.

I also like to play with the bagua on my stove top. I have four burners plus a center grill. The front left burner relates to Knowledge, the back left to Prosperity, the back right to Partnership and the front right to Helpful People and Travel. The grill in the Center covers Fame, Health and Career.

As you use your stove, visualize more and more prosperity and abundance coming your way. It may come in a variety of forms, in addition to money. It may show up as ease with friends and family, deeper relationships and connections, unexpected solutions to problems, greater health and well-being, more happiness and joy. What do you desire in your life? Visualize the outcome as you cook and use your stove.

Ovens are viewed as the container for your wealth from a feng shui perspective. What shape is your oven in? It is clean and shiny? Perhaps it’s a bit splattered or has some residue that you’ve been meaning to clean out. If so, take time to clean your oven this month. It may be as easy as wiping up the spills and turning a knob on your stove. Most ovens are self-cleaning these days.

Give your stove and oven some attention this month. You’ll create momentum as well as activate a wonderful container for all the abundance that is coming your way.
