Hello,
Happy New Year and a very warm welcome to 2017! Each new year provides a great opportunity to leave the past behind and to begin anew. 2017 is no exception. 2016 brought quite a bit to the surface. It’s time to move forward by working together for our
common good and unified well-being. Each of us can contribute by being the best person we can be each day.
During 2017, put yourself first and then give to others that which you’ve cultivated within yourself. Eat high quality food, exercise and get enough sleep daily, do good deeds, express kindness and compassion, make wise choices, think positive thoughts, use uplifting language. Simultaneously, withdraw
from complaints and negative conversations, or spreading stories and examples of what’s wrong. This includes what’s placed on social media. Avoid gossip. Focus on solutions to problems vs. the problem itself. If each of us strengthens our skills in these areas daily, the shifts will be remarkable.
Chinese Lunar New Year is January 28th. We’ll move into the year of the yin Fire Rooster. The day to
make your changes for 2017 is February 4th. I’m working on a 2017 update and will have it ready within a week or so. It’ll take me a bit longer to do customized updates. In the meantime, take advantage of the January 12th full moon to cleanse last year’s cures. Toss out salt water cures and bagua mirrors. Replace them with new ones. It’s fine to let them go as you prepare for the new year and replace them in early February.
Enjoy January! |
