On Thursday, May 9th we have a new moon and Solar Eclipse in Taurus, exact at 8:30pm EDT. The Taurus new moon correlates with the Wealth gua. This is the back left corner of your land, your house and every room in your house when you divide your space into a grid of nine like a tic-tac-toe board. As the new moon approaches, give thanks and appreciation for your blessings, abundance and prosperity. Visualize your talents and abilities generating income for you, as you do work that you love. Channels of energy open up to enable even more abundance to flow your way when your personal chi and that of your space is free flowing.

Prior to May 9th, re-energize your Wealth and Prosperity gua by giving it a thorough spring cleaning. Repair, remove or toss out anything that is broken, remove all cobwebs, vacuum, wash your windows and curtains, thin out excess paper and magazines, etc. Also pay attention to computer files if you have an office or computer in this area. This is a new category of clutter as so much is stored electronically these days. Get in the habit of thinning it out regularly. Assess the flow of energy in your Wealth area and perhaps re-arrange the furniture if doing so would feel better or uplift the chi of the area.

In my house a basement sump pump and bulk head, my office, and our master bath are located in the Wealth area. Rather than fret about the sump pump and master bath pulling energy down, I up lift the energy in these area regularly. Our bulk head needs to be painted. If the weather cooperates, I'll get it done before the May 9th new moon. If not, I'll do it as soon as the weather warms up. I also clean my office regularly to keep the chi flowing. I keep a beautiful potted plant in the Wealth comer of my desk along with amethyst and citrine crystals and a treasure box filled with gold, frankincense and myrrh. I also have a Vision Board conveniently located within eyeshot of my desk. A feng shui flute, positioned at the Wealth angle, hangs on a wall behind me, providing strength and support. I also have a beautiful perennial garden outside my window that completes a "missing area" in Wealth.

Enhancements for the Wealth and Prosperity area include: fresh flowers or green plants; the colors purple, red, green or gold; amethyst, malachite or citrine crystals; a wind chime or an object that introduces movement; something that reminds you or prosperity or blessings;  a treasure box; moving water or virtual water; a water image; a Vision Board.

Have fun energizing your Wealth area. Then tune into the results beginning with the May 9th new moon.

We're in Eclipse season again! We had a full moon Lunar Eclipse on April 25 (5 degrees Scorpio, 46 minutes), we have a new moon Solar Eclipse on May 9th (19 degrees Taurus, 31 minutes), followed by a second full moon Lunar Eclipse on May 25th (4 degrees Sagittarius, 8 minutes) According to Madeline Gerwick this series of eclipse is about the lifting of long entrenched patterns that have been holding us in place. Eclipse energy comes in to range 30 days before an eclipse and has an impact up to 30 days after as eclipse. So our current eclipse season ranges from March 25th to June 24th.

Lunar Eclipses occur at a full moon and relate to something coming to light or coming to fruition. Solar Eclipses occur at a new moon and relate to something new or something being birthed. An eclipse makes an impact on your life if it falls within a few degrees of a planet or personal points in your astrology chart.

The April 25 Lunar Eclipse impacts you if you have planets or personal points between 1-9 degrees of Scorpio or Taurus.

The May 9th Solar Eclipse impacts you if you have planets or personal points between 15 ½ -23 ½ degrees of Taurus or Scorpio.

If you are feeling a release of tension, that it is easier to finally move ahead, or that long standing issues are beginning to clear, you are most likely impacted in a positive way by these eclipses.
