Happy New Year!

I hope you had very happy holidays, in spite of any challenges along your path. My holidays were very full and relaxing. I had a nice mix of activities and visits with family and friends. During January, take time to recharge yourself and slowly set your intentions and priorities for the year ahead.

Reflect on what you’d like to be different for yourself this year. In what areas would you like to grow, adjust, or change? What shifts would you like to make in your home? Susannah Conway’s annual planning guide is a wonderful resource for this process. Here’s a link. It’s meant to be done over several days.

Our current Mars retrograde continues until February 23^rd. This is the best cycle to plan for the next two years. You may find that you are changing your ideas about what you really want between now and late February. This is good alignment with current cycles. Circumstances often change and what you think you want may be different by the end of February. Allow yourself time to consider your dreams, preferences and options. Wait until February 24 or later to put your plans into action or to start new initiatives.

The year of the Yin Wood Snake begins with Chinese (Lunar) New Year on January 29^th. February 4^th, the solar new year, is the day to place the annual cures and adjustments in your home, if you follow the Flying Star method of feng shui. I’ll provide an overview in next month’s newsletter. Let me know if you would like me to update the Flying Stars for your home. I’ll be doing these during January.

This is a good month to reflect on how to create the best version of yourself, consider your various options, create a comfortable and supportive living space, and enjoy the season. Winter is the time to slow down, go inward, and do a lot of self-nurturing.

As we begin January in the shadow of the December 30^th new moon in Capricorn, notice what captures your attention and allow things to unfold for a bit. Capricorn is a practical, grounded, and determined Earth sign. The Capricorn new moon will help you to focus on your direction and goals, responsibilities, duty, vision, long-term planning, and achievements. This clear and focused sign helps you to organize activities, consider the long-term implications, and plan for the future. Use the momentum of the new moon to get organized and identify your options.

2025 Flying Stars

Chinese Lunar New Year is Wednesday, January 29th. It will be the year of the Yin Wood Snake. Feb 4^th is the day to refresh your annual cures. I’ll write about this in the February newsletter. If you would like an annual Flying Star update, contact Peg. These will be done during January, in time for you to order any bagua mirrors or other cures you may need prior to February 4th.

Begin 2025 on a high energy note by having your space cleared. Energy embeds itself in your walls, floors, ceilings, furniture and possessions. Meets Weekly

Our Prosperity Study Group will resume meeting on Wednesday evenings at 8:30 - 9:00 pm EDT/ 5:30 - 6:00 pm PDT, on January 8th.

During January we'll discuss the power of words and conscious language. This is a great way to begin a new year!
