December begins as joyful energy from the November 23rd new moon continues to build, peaking with the full moon on December 7th. This is a positive and optimistic time, and an ideal planning cycle (through January 12th, 2023) for the next two years.

This is a time to note what’s coming to light and what’s being revealed, since the new moon two weeks earlier. It’s a favorable time to check in with the intentions you set, and also to release whatever you no longer need, including emotions, patterns and habits that you’ve outgrown and are ready to move beyond. You can do this through a meditation, followed by inspired action. Letting go enables you to create room for new dreams, desires, opportunities, and activities to come to you. After consciously releasing your old patterns, look for signs that the intentions you set on November 23rd are beginning to take shape.

It’s that time of year again: the holidays! This is a time of excitement, happiness, and joy for some people; depression, anxiety, and stress for others and a mix of both for many.

If you’re feeling out of sorts or mixed about the holidays, I recommend that you turn your focus inward. Reflect on what brings you joy and make that a priority. You can’t control other people, you only have power over yourself. Whether you realize it or not, you choose your thoughts, you experience feelings related to those thoughts, and you choose your perspective and your reactions to what other people do and say. Let go of other people’s expectations and manage your own. Happiness is an inside job.

With multiple planets retrograde this fall, it seems like Mercury Retrograde is coming around again rather quickly. It provides the perfect opportunity to pull back, slow down, reconsider your actions and options, and to put plans in place for the year ahead.

Mercury is the planet that represents communications. When a planet retrogrades, it appears to back up in the sky. It’s a time to reconsider the activities that the planet rules. For Mercury, it’s all forms of communications, contracts, and electronics. Be careful with your communications during these three weeks, avoid signing contracts (including getting married and buying real estate), and avoid big electronic purchases (including computers and cars). Sign your contracts and make your purchases before and after this period.

"Do you know how sometimes things just seem to happen at the right time? Such as people coming into your life at that right moment and it feels all the stars are aligned?
