Hello,
Even though the temperatures continue to feel like March in my area, the calendar says its May! This is a month to celebrate moms, spring blossoms, longer and warmer days, and the approach of summer.
The month ahead is shaping up to be one of change, given the April 30th and May 16th eclipses, as well as an array of planetary patterns, including Mercury Retrograde beginning May 10th.
It’s a time of transformation and one of stepping up and accepting responsibility for yourself, your commitments, and your world. You can make things easier on yourself by working with the feng shui of your home and yard. Do what you can to make your
environment even more pleasing with the resources you have. These can be resources of time, money, your family and/or a support team, such as a house cleaner, landscaper, home maintenance and repair help, painters, designers, etc. You don’t have to do everything yourself. Hiring help or bartering/exchanging services can be quite freeing.
Although outcomes are unpredictable, expect change this month. You can influence these changes in a positive way by keeping your energy and that of your property, high. Clear out clutter, organize or reorganize your space, do some self-care. If the
news gets you down, don’t watch or listen to it. Stay focused on lifting your chi and that of the world around you. Doing so helps you, your family and everyone with whom you interact. It’s catchy. As you raise your vibration, you’re helping others to do the same.
Enjoy May!

Mother’s Day … Focus on your Partnership Gua
|
Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8th. If you’d like to improve or strengthen your relationship with your mother or a mother in your life (stepmom, mother-in-law, etc.), freshen up your Partnership or Marriage gua. This is the back-right corner or your home and every room on your home.
The I Ching is the basis of the bagua. The Partnership gua is the area where the Earth trigram expresses itself. The Earth trigram represents “mother” in the mythical family within the feng shui bagua. Earth is yin energy, thus the connection with the feminine attributes and the relationship to mother … think “Mother Earth.”

Mercury Retrograde
May 10 through June 3rd, 2022
|
A heads up for May: Mercury goes retrograde on May 10 through June 3rd. Then it takes a few days for things to get moving again.
I consider Mercury retrograde cycles a gift of time. The three-to-four-week period is a time for you to slow down, cut your schedule in half, reassess what’s going on, clean things out and put yourself on firm footing for the next three to four months.

Golden Spirals are Pleasing, Healing,
and Abundant in Nature!
|
Recently I took Maureen St. Germain’s Sacred Geometry course. This six-part digital program re-introduced me to some of the key relationships between mathematics and the wonders found throughout nature and our Universe. Typically, things that are pleasing to the eye are in a phi ratio (also known as
the Golden Mean) or in a defined mathematical relationship to each other.
Phi is at the center of all creation. We see this throughout nature without realizing it. We see this in spirals, plants and flowers, seashells, ram’s horns and much more. We also experience phi in buildings and structures that are pleasing. Phi is in the relationship between the Sun, Mercury, and Venus; the way noise cancelling headphones work; and our DNA spiral.

Create a Calm and Supportive Environment
and Harmonize EMFs
A significant aspect of feng shui is how chi flows between your inner and outer worlds. When your energy is calm on the inside, chances are you’ll find peace in your outer environment. And tranquility in your outer environment can lead you to inner serenity as well. If you’re one of the many people who’ve been experiencing heightened states of anxiety or feeling a bit disjointed and unsettled, it’s
understandable. There’s a lot of disruption in the world at large.
