Hello,
June began in the shadow of the May 30th new moon and within days, Mercury, the planet of communication, turns direct on June 4th. This is a time to set positive intentions and then notice what comes to light with the June 14th
full moon. Perhaps we’ll see encouraging shifts with personal or family situations as well as with some of the conflicting world events.
The best way to influence a better world is to create a happier and healthier version of yourself from one day to the next. The work is always on oneself. Pay attention to how you feel and how you react to events in your life. Notice the events and
circumstances that disrupt a smooth flow of energy within yourself. Develop resilience and then do the work to get back on track. Cultivate inner peace and share it with everyone you encounter through kind words and deeds.
Remember that your house and immediate environment have a significant effect on you and your health. Everything is energy and you and your house mirror each other. Your home is your personal sanctuary. It’s where you rest, heal, recharge, and
connect. Clutter and physical blockages hinder your health and overall well-being. If you live with a lot of clutter, set an intention to let it go and begin to release it. Every bit helps.
If global events are troubling you, be the change you wish to see in the world. Set a good example every day within your family and community. It’s catchy.
This is a great time of year to expand outside and to enjoy the bounty of nature. Spending time in your yard, garden, the woods or forest, or public gardens and beautiful open spaces can be very healing. In particular, I’ve been finding the various
hues of green to be particularly soothing this spring. For months I’ve been watching gorgeous greens emerge through woodland moss, unfurling of ferns and leaves, grass, lawns, open spaces, and more. It’s beautiful and a wonderful antidote to the backdrop of the wider world.
Here’s a recent inspiring story from the Good News Network about a chemical wasteland and toxic car dump that was cleaned up and turned into a national park. Although it took a long time, a wonderful transformation occurred. The cost was covered by the polluters and not the taxpayers. If it can happen here, it can happen elsewhere.
Enjoy June!
